Having done sea turtle conservation work on the beach at the Palms at Pelican Cove, they reached out to me to design educational signs for their beach that would alert beachgoers to potential rip current conditions and safe snorkel areas, the diversity of life to be found on the reef and nesting sea turtle information. About a year or two after designing the initial sign, they applied for Blue Flag status for their beach and needed a complimentary sign that followed Blue Flag guidelines and offered educational information.
